Investigative personnel are sworn, state law enforcement officers having statewide jurisdiction. The investigators are fully authorized to carry firearms, make arrests, conduct searches and present cases at all levels of prosecution. They are located throughout the state and work in close cooperation with the insurance industry, state and federal law enforcement agencies and prosecutors. The investigators investigate crimes involving insurance fraud, and criminal violations dealing with bail bonding.
