Jack directs the Risk Management Division and supervises the staff. He also oversees the State Property Fire Insurance Fund.

Joe handles State insurance matters, including motor vehicle coverage, provides risk management consulting for State and local governments, and is liaison with the Public Officers and Employees Liability Insurance Commission.

Richard is the contact for State property loss reporting. He resolves claims and works with State agencies on measures to control losses. He can also assist with property insurance coverage questions.

Pat handles billings and accounts receivable for property insurance provided by the State Property Fire Insurance Fund. Confers with State agencies and universities on property insurance values and coverages. She is secretary for the State Building Code Enforcement Officers and serves as our PC expert.

Manufactured Building
Assures that manufactured homes are constructed in accordance with federal standards and installed in accordance with North Carolina regulations. Receives and resolves complaints from, buyers of manufactured homes and from persons in the manufactured housing industry and monitors complaints from consumers. Licenses home manufacturers, dealers and sales representatives and Set-up contractors.

Fire and Rescue Commission
The Fire and Rescue Commission staff coordinate and operate the State Fire and Rescue Incident Reporting System (NCFIRS), serve as the state representative and coordinator for the US Fire Administration and the National Fire Academy, and manage the state's voluntary certification system, which is comprised of 28 subjects and has more than 100,000 fire and rescue participants.

Fire and Rescue Grants
The Fire/Rescue Grants & Relief Funds Administers and processes the Volunteer Fire Department and Volunteer Rescue/EMS grant programs as well as the Firefighter Relief and Rescue Workers Relief Funds. Together, both sets of programs collect and disburse over $12 million annually.

Ratings and Inspections
The Ratings and Inspections Division is responsible for inspecting and surveying fire districts for minimum 9S requirements for fire protection under the North Carolina Response Rating System (NCCRS). The division also serves as a resource to fire districts, local governments and emergency personnel who need assistance with district mapping, record keeping, contract agreements, benefits, and more.
