The Base Documents for the 2006 NC Codes are the 2003 I-Codes. The attached 2006 NC Amendments are replacements to the Sections printed in the Base Documents. The 2004 Supplement to the I-Codes is referenced in various Sections of the 2006 NC Amendments.
 
The following amendments were approved by the NC Building Code Council on September 13, 2005. The effective dates are:

July 1, 2006 (Building, Energy Conservation, Fire, Fuel Gas, Mechanical, Plumbing)

June 1, 2007 (Residential)
