Welcome!
The NC Fire & Life Safety Education Conference is dedicated to educating statewide fire, rescue, and EMS personnel on how to effectively prevent accidental injuries and deaths. The conference provides a forum that delivers common-sense solutions to today’s fire and life safety problems and addresses a wide range of prevention and safety topics from Home Sprinklers to Child Development. This year, only the Administration component of the NC Fire and Life Safety Education Certification will be offered during the conference. It will be offered at Level I, II, and III at the Saturday and Sunday pre-conference. This year’s conference will give attendees the chance to gain professional development as they network with peers and enjoy the new and exciting workshops being offered.

Meals Included:
Pre-Conference Meals: 2 continental breakfasts.
Conference Meals: 3 breakfasts, 2 lunches, 1 dinner offsite at the Pizza Brewery
 
Guest Meal Tickets:
Monday lunch: $30.00
Monday dinner at the Pizza Brewery: $10.00
Tuesday lunch: $30.00 per guest
 
Meal tickets will be provided at registration check-in. You must have your meal ticket for entry to each meal. NO EXCEPTIONS!
 
 DUE DATES & CANCELLATIONS:

$25.00 Late Registration fee will be assessed after January 13, 2010 on all In-state, Out-of-state and Exhibitor fees. NO EXCEPTIONS after this date!

Cancellation Policy:
  • Full refunds will be granted on or prior to January 13, 2010 if needed.
  • Substitutions are welcome prior to or after this date.

    Why Should You Exhibit at the FLSE Conference?
    Exhibiting at the Fire & Life Safety Education Conference provides an organization/company the opportunity to interact with over 200 of North Carolina’s Fire, Rescue, and Emergency Service personnel.

    Fees and Meals:
    •  
    Non-Profit - Free: Includes 8’table w/ skirting and electrical outlet.
     
    For Profit - $250.00: Includes 8’ table w/ skirting, electrical outlet, Monday and Tuesday lunch for one. Please include an additional fee $10.00 per person for the Monday dinner, offsite.
     
    Additional Guests: Please include an additional fee of $60.00 per person for two lunches and an additional $10.00 per person for the Monday dinner, offsite.
     
    Vendor Schedule:
     
    Monday, February 8th Tuesday, February 9th Wednesday, February 10th
    • Vendor Set-up: 7:30am-9:30am (during opening ceremony) All vendors are asked to be set up by 9:30am.
    • 10:00am – 4:00pm - Vendor display Note: Vendor set up also available Sunday from 5:00pm-7:00pm.
    • Vendor display: 8:00am-4:00pm
    • Vendor breakdown: 4:00pm-5:30pm

    Single occupancy rate: $100.00 per night, up to two occupants; $40.00 per person for each additional occupant.

     FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE:

    OSFM is offering a limited number of scholarships to waive registration fees for qualified applicants. Click here to download a Financial Assistance Application.
    • Financial assistance is offered to those demonstrating a clear financial need.
    • Applicant must be a NC resident.
    • Priority will be given to those who have not previously received assistance or received assistance in the last three years.
    • Only one waived registration per organization.
    • Applications for waived registration are due by January 5, 2010.
