Our conference is dedicated to preventing injuries and deaths from accidental injuries by providing a forum that delivers common-sense solutions to today’s fire and life safety problems and addresses a wide range of prevention and safety topics. For Your Information - The Rowan/Cabarrus Community College will be offering Fire and Life Certification Classes Level I, Level II and III Jan 30-Feb 4, 2014 prior to the conference. Each year at the conference we recognize Fire and Life Safety Educators that have performed above and beyond. If you know a person or agency from NC that you would like to nominate for the BT Fowler Award or Award of Excellence please complete and submit the nomination forms by Friday November 15, 2013.
- Scholarship Form (Due January 6, 2014)
A waived registration fee is available for a limited number of qualified applicants to help offset conference cost. Registration fee covers a conference badge to attend the conference and meal tickets for meals provided during the conference. You may register for the conference but do not pay until you have been notified if you have or have not received a scholarship.
Please help support the Silent Auction and the North Carolina Fire & Life Safety Association by bringing an item that is special or identifiable to your community, city or state to be auctioned off at our annual conference. Items should be brand new and have a retail value of $20.00 or more.

Each year a fire helmet is designed and painted for NC Fire and Life Safety Conference. Raffle tickets will be sold at the conference for the helmet. Increase your chances of winning by buying LOTS of tickets.
Award Nomination Forms: Applications for awards must be submitted by Nov 15, 2013.
Scholarships: Applications for waived registration are due by Jan 6, 2014
Hotel Reservations: In order to receive the reduced conference room rate you must reserve your room prior to Wednesday, January 1, 2014
Conference Registration: After January 17, 2014 a $25.00 Late Registration fee will be assessed. NO EXCEPTIONS after this date!
** Refund Policy: The conference will be held unless there is a state of emergency in NC. There will be no penalty for cancellations and refund requests received on or before January 17, 2014. All refund requests must be sent via e-mail to: Allison Cummings firstname.lastname@example.org. Telephone requests WILL NOT be honored. Refunds will not be issued for cancellations received after midnight on January 17, 2013.
Emergency Illness or Death of Registrant or Immediate Family Member: Late requests for refunds from attendees who are unable to attend the conference due to a death or family emergency will be considered on a case-by-case basis by the NC FLSE Council Executive Committee.
Substitution Policy: Substitutions are welcome any time before or after the indicated deadline. Registration fee may be transferred from one registrant to another.
