The NCSMP Volunteer Coordinator/Program Specialist is a key contact for NCSMP volunteers and responsible for at-risk management and program development pertaining to the volunteer components of the NCSMP program. The specialist also responds to calls of Medicare/Medicaid billing errors, fraud and abuse through the NCSMP toll free line.

The NCSMP Director is responsible for program development and implementation; monitoring program activities; managing staff and conducting audits of coordinating sites to ensure grant funds are being utilized appropriately.

The NCSMP Program Specialist conducts educational outreach events for the Western part of North Carolina.
