Commissioner Goodwin Organizes Insurance Assistance Center for North Carolinians Affected by Hurricane Sandy
RALEIGH — Insurance Commissioner Wayne Goodwin has organized an Insurance Assistance Center where people who have questions or complaints about filing insurance claims in the wake of Hurricane Sandy can meet in-person with insurance experts from the Department of Insurance. People should bring their policy information with them when requesting assistance.
"When it comes to insurance, I will assist and advocate for the residents of North Carolina in whatever way I can," Goodwin said. "If you have a question or a complaint about your claim, we want to hear from you."
The Insurance Assistance Center will be open to the public on Thursday, Nov. 8 and Friday, Nov. 9 from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Kitty Hawk Town Council Chambers located at 101 Veterans Memorial Drive, Kitty Hawk.
