Supervise Engineering Division, co-ordinate staff for three state boards, handle appeals per GS 153A-374 and GS 160A-434, enforce restrictions within municipal primary fire districts as per GS 160A-436, and provides interpretations for compliance with the North Carolina State Fire Code.
