The SHIIP Senior Technical Advisor works with the Outreach Coordinator to develop educational and training materials for the division on topics of Medicare supplement insurance, Medicare Prescription Drug Plans and Medicare Advantage plans. This position also handles agent complaints regarding Medicare Advantage and Medicare Supplement insurance policies.

The Outreach Coordinator coordinates statewide requests for speaking engagements and outreach events; exhibits and/or speaks at local events; develops educational and promotional materials; maintains the Medicare Supplement Premium Comparison Database and plans special events.

The Statewide Volunteer Manager oversees the nearly 1,000 SHIIP volunteers and coordinators throughout the state and processes new volunteer registration forms and enrolls students in the on-line training program.

The Central Region covers Anson, Chatham, Hoke, Lee, Montgomery, Moore, Richmond, Robeson, Scotland and Stanly counties.
